It all started in 1989. A young California/Texas transplant from a small ranch in San Elizario, TX—where I grew up riding horses and swimming in rivers, always drawn to the water.
At 13, during a chance visit to Rosarito Beach in Baja, I discovered surfing—and everything changed. That wave set the course.
From that moment forward, I knew my life would never be the same.
